Terms of Service

By creating an account on ChopShift you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. ChopShift is operated by Onoir Studio, a company registered in Ireland ("we", "us").

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the service. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

ChopShift is a two-sided marketplace. Salon owners post day-cover shifts and full-time listings. Barbers post their availability and apply for work. The app helps the two sides find each other, agree on terms in chat, and keep track of bookings.

ChopShift is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, you will be told in advance and asked to agree to any new terms before being charged.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password safe and do not share your account with anyone else. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

When using ChopShift you agree not to:

• •Post false, misleading or fraudulent listings or applications.
• •Harass, threaten or abuse other users.
• •Upload content you do not have the right to share.
• •Try to break, overload, scrape or circumvent the service.
• •Use ChopShift for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Agreements between barbers and salons (rate, hours, dates, payment method) are made directly between you. ChopShift is not a party to those agreements and does not process payments between users. We are not responsible for the work being carried out, the quality of that work, or for the parties paying each other.

You agree to comply with all tax, employment and other legal obligations that apply to you when working through the platform.

If you have a problem with another user, please try to resolve it directly in chat first. If you need to report serious abuse or fraud, contact us at hello@onoirstudio.com and we will look into it.

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & security → Delete account. We can suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, or if we need to do so for legal or safety reasons. Sections that should reasonably survive, for example the limits on our liability, will continue to apply after your account closes.

ChopShift is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost income or lost business arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of Ireland.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If we make significant changes we will let you know in the app before they take effect.
